The University of Florida Student Fitness and Recreation Center played host to the 32nd Annual 2011 Sunshine State Games (SSG) held June 10th – 12th. The event again proved to be a huge success bringing 55 players from all over the state of Florida ranging from ages -12 to 75+.
The Sunshine State Games is a program of the State of Florida, offering affordable competition for all of Florida’s amateur athletes. Whether you are seeking Olympic Gold or are a weekend warrior, the SSG is the place to showcase your talent!
The Florida Sports Charitable Foundation (FSCF) in partnership with Alachua County Sports Marketing, plan the games each year and will be doing the SSG again next year in Alachua County. The racquetball will again be held at the UF Student Fitness and Recreation Center on June 8th – 10th.
